As part of Sandals' annual talent show among their employees at their 3 St Lucia resorts, a series of competitions have been taking place in these hotels as contestants battle it out before the big final which will be celebrated in the Bahamas in October.

Bahamas holidays are the next stop for Sandals Encore winners

It was a great time for music lovers to be enjoying Caribbean holidays at three outstanding Sandals resorts and Rihanna’s “Please Don’t Stop The Music” was quite the appropriate start for Sandals Resort’s Encore talent show. It was ‘on to the next one’ as contestants from all three Sandals resorts on the island competed for the chance to represent St Lucia at the regional finals of the hotel chain’s annual talent show in the Bahamas in October. The lucky singer or songstress would then be representing St Lucia holidays on the finals.

The show, meant to foster team spirit and showcase the talents of employees who put so much work and dedication at providing guests with great St Lucia holidays, was held at the Sandals Halcyon Resort on Saturday, June 16, and at the end of it all there were prizes for the top male and female singers, models and dancers.

Curlina St Ville from Sandals Halcyon sang her way to the Bahamas with Natasha Beddingfield’s “Unwritten.” With her practiced vocals the young woman was deserving of her prize. The male segment was a mixture of Country and Western, Reggae and Hip-Hop, but it was Andreas Francis of Sandals Regency’s entertainment department who won the male singer award that night with John Legend’s “So High.”

After that it was time for the ‘eye-candy’ segment. Halcyon’s Shatal Lionel strutted down the catwalk, outshining the other female contestants and earning her spot as the top female model. Lionel rocked the crowd first with her original peacock inspired swimsuit, and then with a close fitting sparkly blue eveningwear number. In the male category, Garfield Mangroo from Halcyon eased his way to the male model of the night spot.

Last but by no means least was Kadeem Faustin of Sandals Grande who was fantastic, with his flawless dance moves. For the delight of guests entertained by all these performances during their St Lucia holidays at these Sandals hotels, Faustin, on the other hand was the dancer of the night.
