  • Wander amongst the habitats of man’s closest relatives
  • Marvel at the incredible biodiversity you’ll come across along your travels
  • Be educated on the historical highlights of the city of Kota Kinabalu

This great trip will take you all around the important parts of Borneo, opening your eyes to sights like no other. You’ll begin your travels in Kota Kinabalu where you will proceed to Kinabalu Park by car. When you arrive at the foot of the impressive Mt. Kinabalu, you’ll receive a crash course on the impressive biodiversity that inhabits the locality. You will also be able to test your true height tolerance when you head to Poring to bask along the treetop canopy walkways – 41 metres above the forest floor. A trip the following day to Sandakan will have you up front and personal with man’s closest relatives, the Orangutans! At Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre you’ll have the opportunity to witness the magical feeding of an Orangutan at the feeding platform. After all of this you’ll take a boat cruise trip to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary where you can observe the spectacular scenery of the Mangrove Forest. Your next day will involve a trip to Sukau where you can mingle amongst the villagers and perhaps even search for the primates, birds and other wildlife that inhabit the area. Enjoy some of the historical highlights of the country when you head to Sandakan – pass the Atkinston clock tower, Dea Soka, Malaysia Monument and the North Borneo Memorial too. All of this, plus a sufficient amount of leisure time, great food and brilliant company will make this trip one to remember, for sure.
