This is a journey through the heart of India to explore old and new part of Delhi the capital city, the Taj Mahal in Agra exemplifies the art and architecture of the Mughals; the beautiful palaces and bustling bazaars of Jaipur epitomize the rich culture of Rajputana. The historic town with its meandering lanes offers a wide variety of historic and cultural experiences to the visitor with its exquisite havelis, temples, ghats, baoris and gardens.

Day 1 - Arrival In Delhi
This morning you will arrive at Delhi's International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, a representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building and transfer you to your hotel. Where you will proceed for check-in
You will spend 2 nights in New Delhi at Maidens Hotel on Bed and Breakfast in a Heritage Room.
Day 2 - Delhi
Proceed for a full day combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. Afternoon proceed to New Delhi. Drive past The Presidential Palace, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war and a drive along the Rajpath past the Parliament House and secretarial buildings. Visit Qutab Minar, the 12th century tower of victory built by a slave king and prototype of all minars (towers) in India. Also visit the 16th century Humayun's tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.
Day 3 - Delhi To Agra
This morning after breakfast proceed to Agra.
Upon arrival at Agra you will check-in at your hotel and a representative will assist you to complete your check-in formalities.
Afternoon proceed to visit Agra Fort, where the ageing Emperor Shah Jahan, imprisoned by his son, watched from a distance the fulfilment of his life's dream-the building of the Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife.
Afterwards visit Taj Mahal, (Closed on Fridays). Evening is free at leisure.
You will spend 1 night in Agra at Trident Hotel on Bed and Breakfast in a Deluxe Garden View Room.
Day 4 - Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Jaipur.
On arrival at Jaipur, proceed to check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Later in the afternoon set out for a specially customized walking tour visiting the Evening Bazaars, cuisines and crafts of Old Jaipur.
On this fascinating evening walk mingle and talk with the locals whilst sampling some of the regions culinary delights; try pakoras, aloo tiki, samosa and sweets from some of the city's most popular street food vendors. Observe local artisans in their workshops; jewellers and silversmiths, gold and silver foil makers.
You will spend 2 nights in Jaipur at Trident Hotel on Bed and Breakfast in a Deluxe Garden View Room.
Day 5 - Jaipur
Following buffet breakfast you will proceed to visit the capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort.
An elephant or alternatively a jeep will spare you the trouble of reaching up to the fortress. Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls.
En-route to Amber Fort you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds', otherwise known as Hawa Mahal. It is really an elaborate faÃ§ade, extremely intricate in its pink sandstone carving. The cool wind blows through its facade of windows and latticed screens through which the queens of the court once viewed the streets of the city.
This afternoon, you will visit the City Palace, which is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways. The palace museum houses collections of rare manuscripts, armory, costumes, carpets and miniature paintings.
In the evening you will be taken to Nokha House for a Rajasthani cuisine cooking demo followed by Dinner with the family.
Day 6 - Jaipur To Udaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Udaipur.
On arrival at Udaipur, proceed to check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Set amidst the Aravalli hills of south Rajasthan, Udaipur (City of Sunrise) is a beautiful city regarded as one of the most romantic in India. Presenting an enchanting image of marble palaces, placid lakes, attractive gardens and green hills, it has been called "the Venice of the East".
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
You will spend 2 nights in Udaipur at Trident Hotel on Bed and Breakfast in a Deluxe Garden View Room.
Day 7 - Udaipur
Today morning after breakfast, set out for an incredible journey of Udaipur on your cycles.

Comeback to the hotel for breakfast. Later proceed for the half day city tour of Udaipur.
Sites to visit include:
Sahelion-ki-bari, the spectacular garden displaying the unique lifestyle of the Royal ladies who once lived in the Palaces.
Later in the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola towards Jag Mandir Palace, which covers almost four acres and is noted for its marble pavilion and an imposing dome.
Day 8 - Udaipur - Delhi
Buffet breakfast at the Hotel.
Later on time a representative will meet you & transfer you to airport for your flight to Delhi.
On arrival at Delhi's Airport, following baggage collection, a representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal building and will transfer you to your hotel.
The rest of your day will be at leisure for independent activities and last minute shopping in Delhi.
You will spend 1 night in New Delhi at The Maidens Hotel on Bed and Breakfast in a Heritage Room.
Day 09 - Departure Delhi
In time a representative will meet you and assist you to transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight back home. (Approximately 4 hours prior to flight departure time). The standard check out time at the hotel is 1200hrs.
