St Lucia launches hurricane holiday guarantee

The Caribbean island of St Lucia is offering tourists a new unique holiday guarantee. The island's tourism authority has launched the holiday guarantee programme to cover travel cancellations in the case of a hurricane in the region. Holidaymakers will be covered if they have had to cancel their holiday to the island prior to their arrival or if their holiday has been cut short due to a hurricane.

Royal St. Lucia Resort and Spa enters TripAdvisor's coveted hall of fame for second time

The Royal St. Lucia Resort and Spa has been named in the coveted TripAdvisor Hall of Fame for the second time in 10 years. The accolade is given to hotels that have won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row. The resort sits on Reduit Beach in St Lucia and has 94 guest rooms and suites, as well as two restaurants, two bars, a spa, a fitness centre and a water sports centre.

Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet owner reveals plans for new Jade Sea Resort in St Lucia

The award-winning Jade Mountain resort in St Lucia could soon have a new sister resort. The owners of the luxurious Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet sister properties have revealed plans to develop the new Jade Sea resort. The new resort would be separated from Jade Mountain by a ridge, and it would face the Pitons and would be fully open on the south side, with 24 guest rooms and suites.

Jade Mountain named best hotel in St Lucia in Travel+Leisure's 2018 World's Best Awards

Travel+Leisure magazine has named Jade Mountain in St Lucia as the leading resort in St Lucia in the 2018 World's Best Awards. The luxurious hotel was ranked in first place in the St Lucia category and second place in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas category. Voted for by readers of the magazine, the tropical resort was also ranked 56 in the world in the awards.

Ladera Resort in St Lucia named as one of Caribbean's top resorts

The Ladera Resort in St Lucia has been ranked in fifth place in Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards' Caribbean Resort Hotels category. Jade Mountain crowned St Lucia's number one resort with Anse Chastanet not far behind

Travel + Leisure magazine readers have voted the Jade Mountain resort in Soufriere as St Lucia's best hotel, with its sister property, Hotel Anse Chastanet also featuring in the top five. During the recent celebration of T+L World's Best Awards 2018, both beautiful resort properties scooped up the first and third place, respectively, which means their management must be doing something very right indeed.

Bay Gardens Marina Haven to Open in St Lucia in July 2018

Bay Gardens Resorts has added another hotel to its portfolio in St Lucia. The hotel group announced that it has acquired the Palm Haven Hotel, which will be renamed as the Bay Gardens Marina Haven. The 35-room hotel, which is located in the Rodney Bay area of the island, will reopen to guests later this month with renovated facilities and public areas.
