Luxor’s ancient attractions are its main draw and there's certainly plenty to choose from.
There's the majestic and the Karnak Temple Complex on the city’s east Bank, and the iconic Valley of the Kings on the west. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even see the ancient sights from up high on a hot air balloon! After all the sightseeing, hop onto a felucca and sail down the Nile to Banana Island and on the way back you’ll be treated to the most glorious sunset over the river. If you've got time to kill, enjoy a stroll along the Sharia al-Corniche, a beautiful riverside walkway that runs from Luxor to Karnak, scattered with shops for you to browse as you go.
