Cuba hotel Says Goodbye to Summer with a Musical Bang

As summer drew to an end over the past weeks, there was one particular Cuba hotel who wanted to wave goodbye to the season in a special musical way that highlighted the island’s vibrant dancing spirit.

The Sol Palmeras hotel in Varadero, part of the Melia Group of Hotels & Resorts proudly hosted their very own End of Summer Festival with a range of musical events and concerts, thus reaffirming the hotel chain’s vocation for favouring Cuban music as one of the island’s most important cultural attractions.

Over the last 2 weekends of August this musical Cuba hotel hosted live performances by popular bands and singers, with a variety of Cuban rhythms ranging from salsa, reggaeton, timba and rap. Among them, on 23rd August they featured Los Cuatro, a local reggaeton group, on 28th August the band Calle Cuba performed one of their contagious Latin beats and on the 29th Alain Daniel, the revolutionary new salsa singer that created the “New Casino” genre, was also there to entertain the lively crowd lucky enough to be on a Cuba holiday during this time.

These fabulous presentations and musical celebrations go hand in hand with the hotel’s All Inclusive package, which goes beyond offering guests the standard amenities and is more about creating “a real Cuban experience” that will last on guests’ memories and hearts for far longer than the duration of their Cuba holidays.

Wanting to bring guests with the most authentic the island has to offer, this Cuba hotel strives to always promote the Cuban culture in some way or another and engage guests into learning more about the holiday destination they are visiting.

This time they said goodbye to the summer season by focusing on the infinite variety of Cuban culture though its varied music rhythms. With their End of Summer Festival this Cuba hotel offered music as one of the values of the whole tourist product that the Sol Melia Group continually promotes in Cuba.
