Rosewood Phuket marks brand’s debut in South East Asia

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts has entered the hotel market in South East Asia with the launch of a new hotel in Thailand. Rosewood Phuket is located on the beachfront in Emerald Bay on the southwestern side of the island.

The luxury new property is nestled within the tropical landscapes on the island of Phuket, and it has 71 pool pavilions and villas with floor-to-ceiling windows and neutral décor. Accommodation options range from the 130-square-metre Ocean View Pool Pavilions, up to the detached 796-square-meter two-bedroom Ocean House, and each villa or pavilion has a private infinity pool and views of the sea.

The resort boasts several dining options that offer scenic indoor and outdoor settings and diverse cuisine. These include Ta Khai, a seafood restaurant with traditional Thai dishes; Red Sauce, an Italian restaurant with beautiful views over the bay; The Shack with simple seafood dishes by the pool; and Mai, a poolside chic lounge where guests can lounge with cocktail, juices and snacks during the day or night.

To celebrate the launch of Rosewood Phuket, guests can enjoy the “Charms of the Andaman” introductory offer. The package offers a two-hour bespoke Asaya experience with a personal consultation with the resident wellness practitioner, where guests can blend their own essential oils and ingredients picked fresh from the onsite herb garden to use in a pampering treatment. The rates start from US$5,350 for a minimum four-night stay in an Ocean View Pool Pavilion for two people. The offer is valid from 2nd November, 2017 until 15th April, 2018.

Holidaymakers can enjoy access to the 2,000-foot stretch of private white-sand beach and the sparkling Andaman Sea where they can go swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling. Tourists can enjoy island-hopping excursions to secluded beaches via private helicopter, yacht tours on Pnang Nga Bay, or tours to ancient temples and colonial-style mansions in the historic Old Town of Phuket.

During their stay at Rosewood Phuket, tourists can hike to the hilltop Big Buddha of Phuket, explore Bangla Road with its vibrant nightclubs and bars, sunbathe on the crescent-shaped beach in Patong, or enjoy Las Vegas-style entertainment at the Phuket Fantasea theme park. Nearby attractions include the Wat Chalong Buddhist temple, the Splash Jungle Water Park, Phuket Zoo, and the Phuket Aquarium.
