Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island has been recognised in Conde Nast Traveller’s Hot List 2017. The awards recognise the best hotels that have opened globally over the past 12 months.

The luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi was named as one of the winners in the Africa and the Middle East. The property officially opened its doors to guests in October, 2016, on the new mixed-use Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.

Sam Ioannidis, the General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, stated:

“It is a great honour to be recognised by the Conde Nast Traveller's editors and contributors on the 2017 Hot List.

“As we celebrate our first year in business, this award is a testament to the dedication, passion and commitment of our team. We have been working tirelessly to provide experiences that exceed expectations whilst positioning ourselves as Abu Dhabi’s leading destination.”

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is located within a 34-floor glass tower, with 200 guest rooms and suites, and facilities that offer views overlooking the sea and the city. Al Maryah Island sits between Abu Dhabi’s downtown district and the new cultural district on Saadiyat Island.

Guests can enjoy facilities including a rooftop swimming pool with a terrace overlooking Sowwah Square Bay and the city, male and female fitness centres, a full-service spa and beauty salon, a fully equipped business centre, and two large ball rooms that open out onto the water. The hotel’s dining venues are diverse and including six restaurants, bars and lounges.

Conde Nast is an American Media company that was founded in 1909 by Condé Montrose Nast. Conde Nast Traveller is an international travel magazine that highlights the world’s best destinations, hotels, resorts, restaurants and attractions.

Pilar Guzman wrote in her editor’s letter in the magazine:

“Our annual Hot List, a rigorous selection of our favourite new hotel openings of the past year, is a predictor of what properties will stand the test of time, make history, and let you reimagine how you want to live and travel.

“Our goal is that these properties spark the heat of early romance in the beginning, and then eventually settle into enduring love.”

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is an international hotel group that operates luxury properties all over the world. Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is the group’s third property in the United Arab Emirates, after the opening of Four Seasons Resort Dubai Jumeirah Beach, and the new Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre.
