Iberostar opens its tenth hotel in Cuba's Cayo Coco key
Banking on the popularity of the pristine key of Cayo Coco, famous for drawing large numbers of scuba diving enthusiasts and families seeking utmost relaxation during their Cuba holidays, the Iberostar chain of hotels has just announced the opening of their latest Cuba hotel, the brand new Iberostar Mojito.
The popular Spanish chain of hotels and all inclusive beach resorts, Iberostar, has just announced the opening of what will become the company’s tenth Cuba hotel and the third to be located in the pristine key of Cayo Coco.
Built on the site of the former La Laguna hotel (also previously known as NH Krystal), after months of extensive renovation work and updates to the property’s guest rooms, the newly refurbished Iberostar Mojito brings a breath of fresh air to Cayo Coco resort while offering guests a new option for five-star all inclusive holidays in Cuba’s blessed Jardines del Rey archipelago.
Already popular with a varied range of holidaymakers seeking sheer relaxation, top snorkelling opportunities and some of the best scuba diving sites in the island, the offshore key of Cayo Largo is a virgin island paradise ideal for families, couples in search of romance or individuals seeking some time out to de-stress and unwind.
Located in the Jardines del Rey archipelago, Cayo Coco is a little gem of an island offering virtually deserted stretches of the finest white sands and the most crystalline turquoise waters; home to pristine coral reefs teeming with colourful marine life beckoning curious snorkellers and intrepid divers.
Now joining the collection of Iberostar’s hotels in Cayo Coco, the brand new Iberostar Mojito has undergone a complete refurbishment process after months of ongoing renovation. The newly revamped property promises to deliver top experiences for guests of all ages, families of all sizes and couples in search of the ultimate Cuba holidays in on of the Caribbean island’s most coveted keys.
Offering a collection of 352 modern and comfortable rooms, the new hotel will offer specially designated areas for both relaxation and animated activities. There will also be dedicated facilities for the little ones including a kids’ club offering supervised entertainment programmes and games as well as babysitting services.
