Almond Beach Club & Spa in Barbados renamed as The Club Barbados after joining Elite Island Resorts
As of 2nd August 2012, the Almond Beach Club & Spa in Barbados has changed hands and name after being re-branded by their new owners; the Elite Island Resorts group. The luxury all inclusive property that once used to specialise in creating romantic experiences for couples on Barbados holidays and which used to belong to the deluxe collection of properties by Almond Resorts, will continue functioning as normal but will change from an adults-only property to a more inclusive retreat for all ages.
The Almond Beach Club & Spa in Barbados has now changed its name to The Club Barbados Resort and Spa after joining the prestigious portfolio of Elite Islands Resorts’ collection of Barbados hotels.
The luxury property, formerly owned by Almond Resorts and specialising in providing romantic Barbados holidays for couples only is the latest addition to the Elite Island Resorts group, who recently acquired the hotel and officially re-branded on 2nd August 2012, after which dates the resort would also start being operated and managed by Elite Island Resorts.
For now the hotel remains open as usual with no operational changes and no disruptions to guests who booked their holidays in Barbados at the property over the next few months.
The Club Barbados Resort and Spa joins other well-loved resorts in the Elite Island Resorts group including St Jamesʼs Club, The Verandah Resort & Spa and Galley Bay in Antigua along with LaSource in Grenada and Palm Island in the Grenadines.

“All of our resorts are well loved by British holidaymakers and the holidays that The Club Barbados offers is a perfect fit with our mix of luxury beachfront resorts and spas. We’ll be working closely with agents and operators as we include it in our training programme and introduce new prices and packages targeting different markets from honeymooners to spa and families to couples.”
