Showcasing the best of the St Kitts and Nevis holiday experience in branded London taxis
The tourism authority of St Kitts and Nevis have recently launched a "mobile" promotional campaign by dressing up a London Taxi with images of the twin-island nation evoking the perfect holiday experience in St Kitts and Nevis. The new move will see the branded London cab circulate London streets for the next 12 months and promoting holidays in St Kitts and Nevis to all on-lookers and cab riders.
In order to entice more British travellers (particularly from London) to go on holidays to St Kitts and Nevis, the Caribbean nation’s tourism authority has recently launched a new promotion campaign by dressing London cabs with idyllic images of the islands, evoking the true St Kitts and Nevis holiday experience.
The new marketing campaign will make the Caribbean twin island nation of St Kitts more visible to Londoners and tourists touring the capital city in a time when London is at its busiest with hordes of visitors coming to participate in the London Olympics 2012.
The new branded cabs will portray the best St Kitts and Nevis has to offer to holidaymakers with panoramic shots of the islands and its beaches, portraying the island’s beauty in a unique and “mobile” fashion. Thanks to this latest move, millions of London residents and foreign visitors will not only get to see the St Kitts and Nevis London cab but they will also get to ride in it and learn more about the islands thanks to the help of the knowledgeable driver, who has been employed for the important role of helping promote tourism to the islands.
To ensure a well-rounded promotional campaign and further tempt cab riders with St Kitts and Nevis holidays, the driver of the St Kitts-Nevis Taxi will play a key role as an ambassador for the destination, highlighting both islands’ attractions to his passengers as they travel around London. Tip-up seats inside the taxi cab will also showcase St. Kitts tourism partners, while the outside of the cab displays the website addresses of both islands
The campaign is the result of a joint effort between the St. Kitts Tourism Authority and the Nevis Tourism Authority which have both jointly launched the campaign and unveiled the fully branded London Taxi, featuring the twin island nation’s warm and vibran colours. The branding on the London cab will last for a period of twelve months as agreed with the London Taxi Advertising company.
