Hyatt Announces Development of Park Hyatt St Kitts Hotel
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that it will be opening a new hotel for St Kitts and Nevis holidays in 2015 after it signed a management agreement with Range Developments. Park Hyatt St Kitts will be located in Christophe Harbour and will feature a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole championship golf course and a 300-acre yacht marina and village.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that it will be adding a new property in St Kitts to its portfolio of hotels after the group signed a management agreement with Range Developments.
The brand new Park Hyatt St Kitts is currently under development and will open to tourists planning to go onSt Kitts and Nevis holidays in 2015. The hotel will be located in Christophe Harbour on the southeast peninsula of the Caribbean island of St Kitts and will feature a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole championship golf course and a super yacht marina and marina village.
Pat McCudden, the senior vice president of real estate and development for Hyatt Hotels & Resort, stated: “Park Hyatt St. Kitts will continue our company's tradition of delivering an unprecedented level of luxury and unrivalled hospitality experience.
"Park Hyatt St. Kitts will be designed to provide an intimate, contemporary resort environment, with touches of the local culture – a perfect sanctuary for our discerning guests."
The new St Kitts hotel is being completed in two stages and is being designed by Dewan Architects. The property will have 200 guest rooms and 50 Park Hyatt-branded residential condominiums.
The first phase of the development will include the construction of 125 guest rooms, a fitness centre, two restaurants and bars, a spa with 12 treatment rooms and over 7,500-square-feet of meeting and events space. The second stage will see the completion of the remaining 75 rooms and an additional restaurant.

Situated in Banana Bay, the Park Hyatt St. Kitts will be surrounded by tropical landscapes including white sandy beaches and turquoise ocean waters and will provide the perfect retreat for tourists going on holidays to St Kitts and Nevis. Holidaymakers staying at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, golf, plus yachting from the 300-acre super yacht marina and village.
The twin-island nation of St Kitts and Nevis is a popular destination for yacht holidays in the Caribbean and the islands receive visitors all year round thanks to the tropical climate and breathtaking natural landscapes that include pristine white beaches, lush forests, volcanic peaks, and winding rivers.
Located in the West Indies, the two Caribbean islands are separated by a two-mile channel - The Narrows - and tourists taking holidays in St Kitts and Nevis can easily access both islands during their visit.
