Ayada Maldives: the newest pearl in the Indian Ocean beckoning tourists to amazing holiday experiences

Just five months after first opening its doors to travellers from all across the world, Ayada Maldives has become one of the leading resorts in the region. Since its launch in November, 2011, the luxury resort has accommodated hundreds of international tourists taking Maldives holidays, while scooping the award for the “World’s Leading New Villa Resort” at the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2011.

The upscale resort is owned by the Turkey-based Aydeniz Group and features 112 villas on the 150,000 square-metre island of Maguhdhuvaa in the Gafuu Dhaalu Atoll, just 10 kilometres from the Maldives’ capital, Male.

Travellers planning holidays to the Maldives at Ayada Maldives can choose from 50 water villas and 62 seafront villas where they can unwind within spacious and elegantly-designed surroundings. The villas feature private pools and terraces with breathtaking views overlooking the sparkling azure Indian Ocean and butlers are available around the clock to offer assistance and advice about the hotel’s facilities and the local area.

Holidaymakers can head to the onsite dive and watersports centre during holidays in the Maldives, where they can choose from a wide range of exciting activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, wind surfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, stand up paddling, and water skiing. Guests can also take a PADI diving certification course so they can explore beneath the surface of the crystal clear ocean waters that fringe the white sand beaches.

The resort is also situated within one of the best surfing areas in the Maldives, making it a desirable holiday destination for surfing enthusiasts. Recreational facilities at the resort include tennis courts, a large infinity pool, mini football, and a games room where younger visitors can play on the Xbox or PS3.

Maldives hotels are not complete without a luxury spa and Ayada Maldives stands out from the rest with its luxury 3,500-square-metre AySpa which is managed by ESPA. The spa is home to the only private hammam in the Maldives and guests can indulge on holiday with relaxing and rejuvenating treatments and lavish Vichy spa products.
