Luxury Turtle Beach Resort Launches The Flying Fish Kids Club
Elegant Hotels has announced the launch of a new children's club at The Turtle Beach Resort. Families taking Barbados holidays will be able to leave the kids at The Flying Fish Kids' Club where they can enjoy a wide range of activities and entertainment.
Families taking Barbados holidays will now find plenty of activities to entertain their kids at the Turtle Beach Resort as resort owners, Elegant Hotels, announces the launch of The Flying Fish Kids’ Club.
The refurbished kids club is open to children aged between three and twelve years old and during Barbados holidays at the resort youngsters will be able to take part in a wide range of fun games within four different categories: Cultural, Educational, Activities, and Entertainment.
The Flying Fish Kids’ Club will be open daily between 9am and 9pm and young visitors will be able learn about the local environment and culture of Barbados through lessons, games, activities and stories.
These include fun lessons about the history of Barbados, local dialect lessons, Bajan cooking and art classes, and traditional games such as Road Tennis and Wharri, the island’s oldest game involving pebbles and pits.
Children will learn Calypso dancing and the classic Caribbean Limbo, as well as take tours to local museums and the island’s famous sugar mill.
Parents will be able to leave their children in the safe hands of experienced and professional staff and babysitters as they enjoy peaceful and relaxing holidays in Barbados at the fabulous Turtle Beach Resort.
The new kids club offers plenty of indoor and outdoor games such as beach cricket and table tennis, plus themed parties, karaoke and movie nights with popcorn. Teenagers taking holidays to Barbados will also be entertained with a pool table, Nintendo Wii, table football, Internet access, and a TV and DVD player.
The Turtle Beach Resort is one of the most luxurious family-friendly hotels in the Caribbean with an idyllic setting upon a 1,500-foot pristine white sand beach that also acts as a nesting site for sea turtles.
The all inclusive, all-suite resort has 161 luxurious Junior and One Bedroom suites; each with private patio or balcony; two freshwater swimming pools and a children’s splash pool; three gourmet restaurants and three bars; two floodlit tennis courts; a modern fitness centre; and complimentary watersports.
The resort is owned by the Elegant Hotels Group who owns and manages five luxury properties on the beautiful Caribbean island, including upscale family-friendly and adults-only Barbados hotels such as Tamarind, The House, Crystal Cove, Colony Club and Turtle Beach.
The Flying Fish Kids’ Club was introduced to Tamarind in November 2010 and the club will also be launched at Crystal Cove this winter.
