Holidaymakers taking Barbados holidays this summer will be able to taste the delicious cuisine of the newly-opened Waterside Restaurant. The restaurant joins the Mango Bay Hotel Group's collection of exquisite hotels and restaurants across Barbados.

The newest addition to Mango Bay Hotel Group’s collection of restaurants and Barbados hotels has opened its doors to tourists taking Barbados holidays.

The Waterside Restaurant is situated in St. Lawrence and offers a unique dining experience for travellers taking holidays in Barbados with exquisite food and breathtaking views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea.

Diners can enjoy a soothing ambience amidst elegant surroundings while tasting some of the best flavours of international and Caribbean cuisine.

Award-winning Chef Patron, Michael Hinds, ensures that his team deliver high quality service and food with a varied menu for guests during their Barbados holidays.

"I’m honoured to be able to work at restaurant such as Waterside," said Hinds. "I have perfected the menu to infuse the amazing local flavours of Barbados with the culinary techniques and ingredients from around the world."

Dishes offered at the new beachfront restaurant include: Pan Roasted Black Angus ‘Tomahawk’ Steak with Truffled Mushroom Ragout, Tandoori Styled Local Rock Lobster with Green and Cut Fries, Molasses Glazed Rack of New Zealand Lamb with Mint Cous Cous, and local dishes such as West Indian Styled Mild Chicken Curry with Coriander and Homemade Chutney.

The renowned chef added: "We not only take our savoury dishes to heart, our deserts are highly favoured and artfully prepared. Signature dishes include our spiced banana spring rolls with coconut ice cream and brand caramel coulis, warm bread and butter pudding with poached bing cherries topped with Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream, and for chocolate lovers our white chocolate mousse wrapped in dark chocolate and glazed barriers is sure to please any palette."

Chairman of the Mango Bay Hotel Group, Peter Odle, commented: "We are thrilled to add Waterside Restaurant and the gastronomic works of Chef Parton to our Mango Bay collection.

"With starters such as crispy duck and orange salad with micro greens to main dishes like fire roasted tiger Prawns on bamboo with papaya relish, our customers are sure to have a dining experience that will leave them satisfied."

The new Waterside Restaurant will be open to guests taking luxury holidays in Barbados on Tuesdays to Sundays from 6pm for dinner, and for lunch and brunch on Sundays during the winter season.

The Mango Bay Hotel Group offers the choice of two Barbados hotels with luxurious accommodation and facilities for travellers taking luxury Caribbean holidays; the 76-room boutique Mango Bay Barbados Hotel in the historic are of Holetown, and the 24-room all inclusive Island Inn Hotel which is situated on the outskirts of the centre of Bridgetown.
