The 14th Commercial Exhibit 2010 of Dominican Republic Hotels and Restaurants concluded last week, as did Haydee Kuret's term as President of the Asonahores association.

The convention took place between 25th and 28th August 2010 in the Dominican Fiesta hotel in Santa Domingo and was attended by 80 exhibitors including owners of Dominican Republic hotels.

The event was dedicated to the Dominican Telephone Company, Codetel, and special guests included Tourism minister Francisco Javier Garcia, the new President of Asonahores Julio Libre, and the executive vice president Arturo Villanueva.

Visitors to the event attended workshops, courses and hotel and tourism conferences, and food and cultural activities.
