Ras al Khaimah: an idyllic all-inclusive destination

RAK: the perfect place to go all inclusive

Ras al Khaimah is the ideal destination for an all-inclusive holiday with most hotels and resorts offering excellent packages. The emirate's best cafes and restaurants are almost all hotel-based so you can be sure of high-quality in-resort dining. Beach hotels often include extras such as service to your sunlounger and non-motorised watersports, leaving you totally free to relax and enjoy your Ras al Khaimah holidays.

Accommodation in Ras al Khaimah caters for all types of traveller with everything from reasonably priced mid-range hotels overlooking the beach to exclusive desert hideaways with some truly special facilities. Booking all inclusive in Ras al Khaimah gives guests access to a broad range of benefits including entrance to a spa fed by hot springs, camel safaris, falconry shows, snorkelling equipment and guided walks, to name just a few. Hotel staff are happy to arrange excursions and tours along the coastline or into the desert. The Banyan Tree Al Wadi, in particular, has cornered the market for desert immersion and adventure.

Fantastic facilities to look forward to

Going all-inclusive to Ras al Khaimah lets you take advantage of a glittering collection of self-contained resorts that boast prime beachside locations and watersports such as snorkelling, wake-boarding and sailing. Some great options include the five-star Banyan Tree Ras al Khaimah Beach that has Bedouin-style cabanas with pools dotted along a private beach, excellent recreational facilities and several quality eateries. Its sister hotel – the Banyan Tree Al Wadi – has even more outstanding services located amid a tranquil desert enclave.

It's also common for all-inclusive resorts in Ras al Khaimah to feature multiple dining options, free kids clubs and a string of swimming pools. Chief among the luxury hotels, Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah has enough restaurants and bars for you to dine somewhere different every day of the week, including Arabic cuisine, Mediterranean and an American grill. The Hilton Ras al Khaimah has a similarly diverse collection of eateries from a down-to-earth beach bar to a sophisticated continental restaurant.

Totally relax and unwind

Once you have booked your holiday you can rest safe in the knowledge that everything is taken care of and paid for in advance, leaving you free to enjoy your vacation time. Your transfer from the airport, meals, drinks, activities and, in some cases, excursions will all be part of the package.

While the warm climate, beautiful beach vistas and desert panoramas provide the ideal setting for relaxation, many luxury hotels in Ras al Khaimah such as the Hilton, Waldorf and Banyan Tree properties have tempting spas where you can totally unwind.

The Hilton Ras al Khaimah Resort and Spa puts guest's relaxation and wellbeing at the top of the agenda with a luxurious spa, a Turkish hammam, no less than six outdoor pools and a choice of 14 restaurants and bars. Families can also take advantage of great children's facilities such as a kids' club and kids' pool with a water slide, so parents can have a well-earned rest knowing their young ones are well looked after.

Perhaps the best place for a complete wellness experience is the Golden Tulip Khatt Springs Resort and Spa, which has an amazing spa fed by natural hot springs that bubble up from the foot of the Hajar Mountains. Guests have access to the Ayurvedic spa and two swimming pools, as well as dining at the continental restaurant, cafe and pool bar.

Exciting excursions and activities

While RAK's range of all-inclusive resorts have everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday, exploring the emirate's stunning scenery and fascinating culture will add another dimension to your break. The attractive boutique-style Mangrove Hotel is perfectly positioned in RAK's corniche area for travellers to enjoy sightseeing and shopping in the city and offers guests city tours and desert safaris. Alternatively, golfing enthusiasts can book a stay at the Hilton Al Hamra Beach and Golf Resort to have direct access to the 18-hole championship course that backs onto the hotel grounds.

Top of the list for adventurous travellers, the desert enclave of Banyan Tree Al Wadi offers the ultimate Arabian experience. The resort's wide variety of exclusive services and facilities include more than 100 villas with plunge pools situated on the edge of the Al Wadi Nature Reserve. The hotel organises sunset camel caravans and dinner beneath the stars, and even has its own horse and camel stables and traditional falconry mews. For a thrilling desert adventure you can explore by quad bike, or for complete relaxation you can indulge in the Asian-inspired hydrotherapy spa. Dining options at the Banyan Tree are also second to none, with an Arabian-style barbecue and Oasis restaurant serving tasty dishes to refuel at the end of a day of desert discovery.
