If you are looking for something to amuse the whole family during a holiday in Cyprus, the Aphrodite Water Park will provide plenty of fun in the sunshine. Whatever your age, prepare for slippery challenges, exhilarating rides and plenty of thrills as you embark on this exciting adventure at one of the island’s biggest and most popular attractions.
The Paphos Aphrodite Water Park attracts more than 100,000 visitors a year, and it’s easy to see why. Not only does it host the biggest family rafting ride in Europe, but you will also find the largest number of facilities and attractions in Cyprus here. If you are looking for relaxed fun, grab a rubber ring and float down the Lazy River, bobbing gently through the caves and under the Tomb of the Kings' waterfall before picking up speed on the fast river, then floating back to where you started. Catch a wave in the Wave Pool, which is great fun for kids, or test your balancing skills and agility in the leisure pool as you attempt to make your way across the slippery wet pads.
For those who want to test their strength and endurance, find your footholds and grab on tight at the Super Volcano. With water erupting over the sides, it’s extremely difficult to hold on! Both the young and young at heart can enjoy bouncing on the Wet Bubble. Climb the slippery surface then bounce or slide down to the pool below. You’ll be soaked by the time you finish.
For those looking for thrills, there are plenty of exhilarating waterslides to experience. Leave your stomach behind as you plunge to a depth of 50 feet on a vertical slide at the Free Fall, or twist and turn at high speed on the Black Hole, before you plunge into darkness and finally drop into a splash pool at the bottom. These rides are certainly not for the fainthearted!
There is plenty of fun for smaller children, too, so they won’t feel left out. Look out for the clown shooting water and a spraying elephant, as well as water mushrooms, water slides, a mini volcano and a mini bubble. You and your little ones can also enjoy plenty of fun in the pirate ship at the children’s pool. Beware, though – they may make you walk the plank!
If you are looking for fun and adventure, Aphrodite Water Park will certainly be one of the highlights of your holiday in Cyprus.
