Uninhabited Island

Duration: Full Day

uninhabited island

Comprising 1192 islands, which form an archipelago of 26 major atolls, you can easily find your very own deserted island and pristine white-sand beach to escape to during your holiday in the Maldives. Scattered like a double chain of sparkling gems in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the Maldives Atolls are actually the visible coral tips of a submerged volcanic mountain range. Sculpted by the sea, and surrounded by crystalline turquoise lagoons, the islands stretch over 800km from north to south. This beautiful country is perfect for holiday makers and honeymooners looking for the idyllic desert island dream.

This tour will enable you to enjoy a full day on one of the Maldives’ secluded paradise islands, where you can do as much or as little as you want. Relax and sunbathe on powdery white sands or under lush swaying palms, watching the crystal clear blue waters lapping gently at the shore. Cool down and take a swim in the alluring turquoise lagoons, or enjoy snorkeling or diving if you feel like doing something a bit more active.

There are so many excellent diving and snorkelling sites around the Maldives islands and atolls, you won’t be disappointed. Discover the beauty and vivid colours of the Maldives’ majestic underwater world as you glide weightlessly through the warm tropical waters of the Indian Ocean searching for natural treasures. Excellent visibility and the rich diversity of marine life makes the Maldives one of the most popular diving destinations in the world. Explore lagoons, caves and dazzling coral reefs whilst swimming amongst schools of brightly-coloured exotic fish of all shapes and sizes.

Over 700 fish species have been spotted in these tropical waters, and angel fish, butterfly fish, rainbow fish, clown fish, jacks, snappers, sweetlips and squirrel fish are just some of the types you are likely to see amongst the reefs. Other sea creatures you may find include sea turtles, octopus, sea cucumbers, grey reef sharks, whale sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, moray eels, sea anemones and a myriad of other marine species swimming in and around the spectacular coral gardens. This breathtaking natural aquarium will both delight and enthral you.

This day of pure relaxation is a wonderful way to enjoy the seclusion and natural beauty of the Maldives both in and out of the water.
