Duration: Half Day

shopping shuttle

If you want to dedicate a full day of your St Lucia holiday to the exciting activity of browsing for things to take home from your trip then we are proud to present you with our fun shopping tour. Specially created to offer you with a fast and easy way to get all your shopping done in a fabulous day adventure! Take our Shopping Shuttle departing from your hotel and heading to Castries’s city centre, St Lucia’s capital and also the best place to shop in the island.

You’ll find that St Lucia’s stores are a lot smaller than most commercial centres overseas but they nevertheless offer many exclusive and exquisite items that shoppers won’t find anywhere else. At Point Seraphine for example, you will find two of the finest shopping stores available: Colombian Emeralds and Little Switzerland who sell the most delicate and precious timepieces, with amazing works of art in the form of porcelain, crystal and jewellery and all at tax free prices!

Your first stop will be at the local and lively Craft Market located right at the capital’s heart and displaying the best of St Lucia’s local product. Feel the vibrancy of St Lucia’s colorful and friendly nature whilst visiting this 100 year old market, filled with many folkloric items portraying the island’s laid back and carefree nature. Here you’ll find plenty of fresh fruit produces and the freshest of today’s catch with a wide array of local spices such as cinnamon, mace, cocoa, nutmeg and hot pepper sauces, all of which would make delightful gifts and souvenirs to take home for your kitchen or your friends. But what the Craft Market is really famous for are its selection of handmade baskets, brooms and other straw goods and pieces of art. Here you can also find a variety of pretty wood carvings, skilful pottery and many other local artists’ wares at very good prices.

Your last and final stop will be at the big Duty Free shopping centre of Point Seraphin, an attractive and more modern complex located right at Castries’ port. Surrounded by many restaurants and duty free shops it is here where you will find almost anything, from fine Cuban cigars to antique English prints and fine silver jewellery made by exclusive designer Lewellyn Xavier.

And after you’ve gathered all those precious items you shopped for it’s time to make your way back and take our shuttle again all the way back to your hotel. Take time to relax once in your hotel and open up those bags to admire at your well-earned prizes after a day of hard shopping!
