A new Six Senses resort is scheduled to open in St Kitts and Nevis in 2021, marking the brand’s debut in the Caribbean. Ground will be broken on the site of a former sugar cane plantation in La Vallee in St Kitts later this year. The resort will have 70 villas with private plunge pools, and they will be built using sustainable and repurposed materials.

The Park Hyatt St Kitts Christophe Harbour has been named as the Best New Hotel in the annual Caribbean Travel Awards. The property overlooks the beach of Banana Bay, and has 126 guest rooms and suites, and is the first Parky Hyatt branded property in the nation.

Lauryn Hill to headline St Kitts' summer music festival

St Kitts Music Festival returns to the open-air Warner Park Stadium in the Caribbean island's capital for its 22nd run this summer. St Kitts and British Airways launch St Kitts-branded London taxis on London's roads

In a joint partnership with British Airways, St Kitts has branded ten London taxis with images of the St Kitts' Scenic Railway, and put them on the streets of London. The campaign will run for 12 months and will promote the Caribbean nation to Londoners going about their daily lives. Promotional initiatives will take place throughout the year including social media activities and competitions.

Annual St Kitts Music Festival to take place from 25th to 27th June

The St Kitts Tourism Authority has announced that the annual St. Kitts Music Festival will take place from 25th to 27th June, 2015. This year's event will feature live music from RandB, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, rock, calypso, gospel and contemporary music artists, and previous headliners have included John Legend, Lionel Richie, and Shaggy.
