Sport Fishing

Duration: Half Day

sport fishing

Offering perfect weather and low wind conditions, Costa Rica boasts some of the best sport fishing spots in the world, attracting avid fisherman from far and wide.

Both inshore fishing and deep-sea sport fishing are world-class in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific waters, which are teeming with big game fish − especially from December to June. These are some of the best waters in the world for billfish, with world records broken nearly every year. This region is also renowned for its dorado, tarpon, snook, wahoo, roosterfish and big cubera. Tuna, marlin and sails can also be found here, depending on the time of year.

Whether you’re out to set the new world record or you just want to fish for fun, this tour will certainly give you plenty of action and adventure out on the open seas. Sail on well-equipped boats, with state-of the art electronics, which range from 27-foot outboards to 47-foot inboards. They meet all IGFA requirements and are loaded with bait and tackle for all types of fishing, including deep-sea fishing. All skippers and crew are courteous, bilingual, and above all, highly knowledgeable and experienced in these waters.

Length of tour: Half Day or Full Day
What to bring: cool comfortable clothes (T-shirt and shorts are recommended), bathing suit, towel, tennis shoes or sandals, sun block, hat, binoculars and camera.
