Located in at the Villa Lapas private reserve, in close proximity to Carara National Park, the Sky Way attraction in Costa Rica is an exciting combination of well-maintained, natural trails and hammock-style, hanging bridges. There are five suspended bridges in total, which tower at more than 180 feet above the ground.

Crossing through the heart of the unspoiled tropical rainforest, through two unique eco-systems that lie between the tropical and dry Pacific, this tour provides fantastic opportunities for wildlife observation. Spot exotic creatures like the poison-arrow frog, coatis, monkeys, American crocodiles, agoutis, raccoons, lizards, deer, anteaters, over a hundred different bird species and many more. Walk deep into the rainforest and experience the sounds and smells of the jungle firsthand. Observe beautiful flora and fauna all around you, and get your camera ready to capture spectacular panoramic views of Carara National Park, the Pacific Ocean and the Tarcoles River.

The Sky Way walking tour is extremely accessible for children and adults of all ages, offering complete security and peace of mind for the duration of the tour. The trail has a length of 2.5 km with descending slopes, and takes approximately one and a half hours, depending on the speed you walk. The bridges are built out of metal, held with metallic towers, and they each have a fence and hand rail to ensure your safety and comfort. Four Seasons Private Residences Prieta Bay will be managed by Four Seasons

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will managed a luxury home complex next to its recently renovated hotel in Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica. The Four Seasons Private Residences Prieta Bay at Peninsula Papagayo will have 20 homes and will be located on 17 acres of land next to the 182-room Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica hotel. The homes will break ground in February, 2018.

KLM airline launches new direct flights to San Jose, Costa Rica

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct flight between Amsterdam and San Jose in Costa Rica. The airline will operate the flights twice a week throughout the winter season, and it will add a third service in January, 2018. The carrier hasn’t operated flights to Costa Rica since 1998, but decided to reintroduce the route due to high demand.

Andaz Costa Rica Resort Peninsula Papagayo acquired by Miami-based Gencom developer

The leading Miami-based hospitality and residential property firm, Gencom, has announced that the Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo has been acquired by one of its affiliates, Papagayo Partners Ltd. In a joint partnership with local real estate developer Sinergo Development Group S.A, it is the second acquisition for Gencom, following the purchase of the 1,400-acre Peninsula Papagayo and Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica last year.
