Fryes Beach - Unspoilt Antigua

The stunning island of Antigua famously boasts 365 beaches – one for every day of the year. With so many miles of deserted white sands to explore, tourists are certainly spoilt for choice. Wherever you go on the island, you can be certain of finding a secluded spot to escape to. Leave your cares behind you on this relaxing day in paradise as we venture to Fryes Beach on the West Coast of Antigua. Sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling are just some of the options available. Do as much or as little as you wish!

You unfortunately won’t have time to visit every beach on the island during your holiday in Antigua, but if you find just one, you will believe you are in paradise. The Caribbean is renowned for its glorious beaches, but Antigua boasts some of the most beautiful in the world. Miles of powdery soft white sands fringe the coastline, encircled by vibrant coral reefs and calm, crystal clear azure waters. Fryes Beach is certainly one of Antigua’s most breathtaking beaches.

Located at Fryes Point on the West Coast of Antigua, just south of Jolly Harbour, this idyllic location provides a wonderful romantic setting for relaxing with a loved one or enjoying a quiet picnic. On a clear day, you can even enjoy views of the neighbouring island of Montserrat on the horizon. There are no resorts nearby, so this spot is rarely crowded. Sit back and let your cares float away as you feel the sun on your face, the breeze in your hair and the soft white sand between your toes, listening to nothing but the waves lapping the shore and the birds swooping overhead. Life doesn’t get much better than this.

The alluring turquoise waters will be hard to resist, so cool down with a relaxing swim or grab your snorkeling gear and explore the Caribbean’s majestic undersea world. Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Antigua’s warm tropical waters world hosts an abundance of marine life. Hundreds of brightly-coloured tropical fish can be seen darting in and out of the coral reefs, in addition to stingrays, moray eels, octopus, barracuda, sea anemones, nurse sharks, sea turtles and hundreds of other exciting marine species. The colours and diversity will amaze and delight you.

A day on Fryes Beach is a blissful way to while away the hours on your Caribbean holiday.
