Getting a taste of Antigua's Dennis Bar & Restaurant

Antigua captivated me in more than one way, with its culinary traditions being one of the highlights of my trip. After trying quite a variety of dining places, there is one quaint bar and restaurant that I especially liked, both for its idyllic, beachfront location and its tasty food fare. Enjoying a meal there was memorable not just for the cuisine itself (which indeed was lovely) but for the homely, laidback vibe and the stunning beachside setting. To this day I fondly remember tucking into simply delicious, unpretentious dishes and donning a few beers while immersing in the authentic local atmosphere. Scroll down to discover what made Dennis Bar & Restaurant special to me.

The St Lucia I still long to see and discover

It’s been a while since my first photoblog on St Lucia, in which I told you how I had been inspired by its amazing scenery to plan a trip there. Four years on and my dream of visiting the Caribbean’s most romantic island hasn’t materialised yet, but thanks to another batch of stunning photographs I received from a friend, my interest in the island has been rekindled and I’m back to planning a holiday there. From the iconic Pitons to Soufriere’s French sophistication and Marigot Bay’s historic sights to the tasty cuisine, local flair and great recreational pursuits on land or water; it all makes for a tempting holiday itinerary. Take a look at these photographs and tell me if you yourself wouldn’t like to be there right now.

A splash of worldly colours returns to London with WTM 2017

Another year, another celebration of the immensely popular and dazzlingly colourful World Travel Market, gathering the widest and most varied array of players in the global travel industry with elaborate displays recreating the culture and traditions of some of the world’s most evocative destinations as well as numerous shows, impromptu concerts, dance performances, arts and crafts sessions, seminars and conferences for all participants to attend, enjoy and soak up the atmosphere of each worldly corner. No matter how big or small the destination, the World Travel Market brings out its brightest colours and here I was again, trying to capture the beauty of it all. I've tried to get the most of my favourite moments and shots of costumes and stands, considering I had limited time and thus some displays were inevitably left out, here is what instantly caught my eye and lifted my spirit.
