Bay Garden Resorts to give guests free tickets to the ICC Women's World T20 cricket tournament in St. Lucia next month
One St Lucian hotel group is making it even more enticing for travellers and cricket fans to head to St Lucia this November as it announced it would be giving guests two complimentary tickets to each match falling within the dates of their stay at either of Bay Gardens' four properties. The ICC Women's World T20 cricket tournament will be hosted in the West Indies between 9 to 24 November, with matches in St Lucia running from 10 to 18 November.

With excitement building up as the kick-off to ICC Women's World T20 cricket tournament nears, there is one St Lucian hotel group upping the ante and sweetening the deal by offering travellers complimentary tickets to the cricket action if they stay at either of their hotels within the cricket tour's dates in St Lucia.
The Executive Director of Bay Gardens Resorts, Sanovnik Destang, made the announcement a couple of weeks ago, stating that between 10 and 18 November all guests at Bay Gardens resorts would receive two complimentary tickets to each match falling within the dates of their St Lucia holiday. And what a better excuse to escape to the most romantic of Caribbean isles?
But that's not all, cricket fans can also look forward to receiving two additional bonus tickets for each match featuring the championship team from the West Indies and as it was later confirmed by Destang, guests will also be offered complimentary transportation to and from the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground. To top it all off, guests staying on an all-inclusive basis will also be given packed lunches, dinners and drinks to take with them to each match.
The idea is not only to elevate occupancy levels in Bay Garden's collection of St Lucia hotels but also to support and give more exposure to women's cricket, who Destang said deserved greater visibility because of its:
"...distinctive, elegant touches and approaches to power, speed, and strategies."
He ended by saying that at Bay Gardens they wanted to play their part in promoting the female modality of this sport with decades of tradition in the Caribbean.
So, what's the catch? Those keen on making the most of Bay Garden Resort's very generous offer must book a stay at either of the hotel groups four properties; Bay Gardens Inn, Bay Gardens Hotel, Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa or Bay Gardens Marina Haven; for a minimum of ten nights.
All Bay Garden properties are located in the lively Rodney Bay Village, also known as St Lucia's entertainment capital. They put guests in close proximity to over 40 restaurants and bars, duty-free shopping malls, a marina and a casino, Treasure Bay Casino. And right on Reduit Beach, Bay Gardens' Splash Island Water Park is St Lucia's first ever water sports park.
If you want to be there and book your St Lucia holiday in time for the complimentary women's cricket action this November, time is of the essence!
