Air Europa introduces passengers to new streaming service on board and it’s FREE!

Air Europa is extending its onboard streaming service to all its short-haul and medium-haul fleet so that passengers can now enjoy all their in-flight entertainment straight from their own portable devices and at no additional cost.

As part of their plan to modernise their fleet and keep up with the times technology-wise, Air Europa has installed and commissioned the streaming service on all its short-haul and medium-haul aircraft, which also means that downloading an app to access their in-flight content is no longer required. All that passengers need to do is activate their device's flight mode and they'll be instantly able to connect to Air Europa On the Air's Wi-Fi network.

As of 21st September, those flying Air Europa's short and medium-haul routes will be able to stream a wide variety of audio-visual content onto their personal devices, completely free of charge. Such content includes games, themed channels (and that includes some popular YouTube channels like Mystic Blue and Sandy's Kitchen) as well as a kids' channel, TV series like New Girl, Glee or Homo Zapping, national and international news channels, culture and sports shows, games (from legendary Tetris to Sudoku, chess and Connect) as well as live flight information.

While this service was already available on the company's Boeing 737-800 aircraft and most Embraers 195 covering European and domestic routes, in addition to all the above-mentioned in-flight entertainment options, passengers will now also be able to access information about their final holiday destination with even the possibility of booking tours and activities or making reservations at restaurants. Just like they say at Air Europa - "every detail counts".

Air Europa's complimentary onboard streaming service is already available in most of the airline's long-haul aircraft (Airbus 330 and Boeing 787).
