Jade Mountain named best hotel in St Lucia in Travel+Leisure's 2018 World's Best Awards

Travel+Leisure magazine has named Jade Mountain in St Lucia as the leading resort in St Lucia in the 2018 World's Best Awards. The luxurious hotel was ranked in first place in the St Lucia category and second place in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas category. Voted for by readers of the magazine, the tropical resort was also ranked 56 in the world in the awards.

The luxurious resort Jade Mountain in St Lucia has been recognised in Travel+Leisure magazine’s 2018 World Best Awards. The property took the top spot in the St Lucia category and second place in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas category.

As well as being voted as the best resort in St Lucia, Jade Mountain was also ranked number 56 in the world by readers of the leading travel publication.

Its sister hotel Anse Chastanet was also placed as the third best hotel in St Lucia, and in sixth place in the Caribbean section.

One honeymooner praised the Jade Mountain resort, saying:

Jade Mountain is sculpted into the Soufriere hillside, sitting above its sister beach resort, Anse Chastanet. The multi-award-winning hotel has 29-room spacious open-air guest suites with bedrooms, living areas, and private infinity pools that glide into one another to form platforms which float out into the natural surroundings. Rooms feature locally-made wooden furniture, and are free from TVs, phones, radios to allow total relaxation for guests.

Anse Chastanet sits on a private estate of 600 acres of tropical land, close to the sandy shores of two beaches with thriving offshore reefs. It is the only resort on the island that boasts views of both the emerald-sloped Piti and Gros Piton mountains that jut out from the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Holidaymakers can savour delicious, fresh food at the onsite dining venues, relax with a yoga session on the beach go kayaking in the sea, swim in the infinity pool, or enjoy a pampering treatment in the tranquil spa.
