Grenada up to half off

For much of the remainder of 2018, visitors can explore Grenada at a discounted rate. The island has launched a summer campaign that is designed to provide guests with value for money as well as the chance to experience all the island has to offer. The program will run from May 1 to October 31 of this year.

Grenada up to half off

Travelers now have the opportunity to explore Grenada for up to half-off for half of the year.

Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique, the three-island destination known as the Spice Islands of the Caribbean, as well as for providing travellers with boundless opportunities to explore, relax, and experience the best of Caribbean living, has launched its Summer campaign, called #NextStopGrenada. The program is designed to provide visitors with true value for money and the chance to experience all the destination has to offer.

From May 1 to October 31 of 2018, a full six months, Grenada’s extended Summer season will provide tourists with the opportunity to enjoy up to a 50 per cent discount on hotel rates, take advantage of room upgrades, complimentary massages, children discounts, complimentary yoga classes, tour discounts and much more.

“The value proposition for people booking in the summer period is tremendous and they get to enjoy quality accommodation offerings, and excellent customer service that brings visitors back year after year.”

Said Grenada Tourism Authority CEO Patricia Maher.

Increased air access to Grenada is an extra bonus for Summer as airline partners announced numerous additional flights to the destination from Toronto Pearson, as well as from John F. Kennedy International in New York and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International.

In the summer months, Pure Grenada offers a number of festivals and cultural events to keep visitors entertained, including the Chocolate Festival from May 11-19; Petite Martinique Whitsuntide Regatta May 18-21, Carriacou Regatta from August 3-6, Spice Mas from August 113-14, and Dive Fest from October 3-6.

The Silversands Grenada will feature both suites and regular units with the longest pool in the Caribbean and a modern feel that contrasts with other properties on the island. It’s an independent property but will be part of the Leading Hotels of the World Collection, said Renee Goodwin, marketing executive for the Grenada Tourism Authority.

Additionally, Kimpton Kawana Bay, is being built further up the beach. It’s due to open sometime in 2019, Goodwin said.
