Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches opens in the Seychelles

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches has officially opened to guests. The luxury island resort has 71 beach bungalows, suites, villas, and residences, all boasting private pools and direct access to the beach. Located 35 minutes via seaplane from the main island of Mahe, the resort boasts two restaurants, a spa, a yoga pavilion, a fitness centre, a teen and kids’ clubs, and a water sports centre.

The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island has opened its doors to guests. The luxury island retreat is a 35-minute sea plane ride away from the main island of Mahe.

Situated on the beautiful island of Desroches in Seychelles, the upscale resort boasts 71 villas beach bungalows, suites and multi-bedroom residences. Each boasts its own pool and direct access to the powder-soft white sand beach, as well as indoor-outdoor bathrooms with sea views, living areas, minibars, large flat-screen TVs, sound bars, coffee/tea makers, and complimentary wireless internet.

The tropical island resort is surrounded by tropical landscapes and is fringed by nine miles of soft white sand beaches and turquoise water. The resort even has its own Tortoise Sanctuary where guests can learn about the Aldabra giant tortoises which are vulnerable to extinction.

During their stay at the hotel, guests of all ages will have access to a wide range of facilities and activities. These include two restaurants, a deli and a bar; a salon and the Circle of Connection Spa with organic treatments and five treatment suites; a Yoga pavilion, a modern fitness centre, and a beachside swimming pool; the Castaway Centre for water sports and beach volleyball; and a kids’ club and teen centre with a variety of fun activities. Holidaymakers can also go cycling along 15 kilometres of forested pathways, take guided nature walks with professionals from the Island Conservation Society, and learn about the island’s rich vegetation and marine life at the interactive discovery centre.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches has employed more than 200 staff from all over the world and Seychelles to operate the luxury resort. It is the second Four Seasons Resort to open in Seychelles, following the launch of the Baie Lazare hotel on the main island, Mahé, in 2009.
