The lead architect for the development, will be Simples Arquitectura which was co-founded by Antonio Segundo Imbert. Santo Domingo is one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean and it was the first inhabited European settlement in the New World. The city successfully blends the old with the new, and is considered to be one of the Caribbean’s most cosmopolitan cities. Divided by the Ozama River, the city is home to Victorian houses, tree-lined streets, luxury hotels, and casinos, as well as historic monuments and attractions such as Columbus's Lighthouse, where the remains of world-famous explorer Christopher Columbus are buried, plus the open caves of the Parque Nacional Los Tres Ojos.

The Colonial Zone is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and holidaymakers will find several examples of preserved 15th and 16th century architecture, such as the Iglesia Regina Angelorum and the Convento de los Dominicos. Popular attractions in Santo Domingo include the Alcazar de Colon museum, Museum of Duarte, and the Museo del Ron Dominicano which becomes a rum bar after hours. The city also offers a vibrant nightlife with an array of stylish bars, night clubs and restaurants.
