Royalton Resorts has announced that two new resorts has opened in Negril by the end of March. The adults-only Hideaway at Royalton Negril and the family-friendly Royalton Negril Resort and Spa.

The two new hotels brings a total of 573 rooms to the coastal region in Jamaica. The Royalton Negril owns 407 guest rooms that offer USB recharging and Bluetooth audio stations, wireless internet, and rain showers, plus six gourmet restaurants, the Royal Spa, kids clubs, swimming pools, and entertainment that will cater for guests of all ages.

The Hideaway at Royalton Negril is located on the beautiful Seven Mile Beach, and have 166 luxury suites with personal butlers and concierge, as well as a range of restaurants, bars, swimming pools, daily water sports, beach yoga sessions, fitness classes, sunset champagne, and poolside mixology classes. Guests at the Hideaway also have access to facilities at the Royalton Negril.

The launch of the two new hotels in Jamaica, follows the opening of two resorts in St Lucia earlier this year. Royalton St Lucia and the Hideaway at Royalton St Lucia both opened to guests in January. Royalton Resorts is owned and operated by Blue Diamond Resorts. The group has a portfolio of luxury resorts across Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba. Last week, Royalton broke ground on a new hotel on Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana.

Negril is located on the west coast of Jamaica, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations due to its shallow bays and white sand beaches. These include the picturesque Seven Mile Beach, and Long Bay with its turquoise lagoon which is protected by a vibrant coral reef, and perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving activities. Popular tourist attractions in the area include Negril Lighthouse, Dunn’s River Falls, Mayfield Falls, and visitors can take boat trips or tours to nearby nature reserves.

The Jamaican laidback beach resort town is home to traditional restaurants where tourists can savour delicious local Caribbean cuisine, and lively bars and nightclubs with live music and entertainment. There are plenty of charming shops and local markets, where visitors can pick up a gift or handcrafted souvenir.
