Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort and Spa set to open in October

The Sheraton Sharjah Beach Hotel Resort and Spa is scheduled to open to guests next month in the United Arab Emirates. The luxury hotel has 349 guest rooms and suites, and a range of facilities including two infinity pools, Shine Spa for Sheraton, a Sheraton Fitness Centre, Kids Club and several gourmet restaurants.

The Sheraton Sharjah Beach Hotel Resort and Spa will open its doors next month with an array of upscale facilities and amenities.

The luxury hotel is scheduled to open on 15th October, 2015, following a delayed opening planned for 2013, and it will have 349 guest rooms and suites.

Situated on an unspoilt private stretch of palm-fringed sandy beach in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, the property is just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Sharjah, a 20-minute drive from Sharjah International Airport, and 30 minutes by car to the neighbouring emirate of Dubai.

The rooms and suites boast panoramic views of the sea or the city and modern amenities such as high-speed internet and WiFi, minibars, hairdryers, and Signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds.

Sheraton Club guests will have access to the Club Lounge where they can enjoy buffet breakfast, snacks and refreshments, evening hors d'oeuvre, and complimentary Internet. There are also extras including unpacking and packing services, ice delivery to rooms, and a welcome drink upon arrival.

Facilities at Sheraton Sharjah Beach Hotel Resort and Spa include the Sheraton Fitness by EXOS, with modern TechnoGym™ equipment, two outdoor infinity pools, Shine Spa for Sheraton with a wide range of holistic and pampering treatments, a Kids Club, and a selection of gourmet restaurants such as the beachfront Al Qubtan, the Seafood Market restaurant, and the Al Mahattah Cigar and Coffee Lounge.

Catering for both business and leisure guests, the hotel has more than 2,100 square metres of function and events space, two ballrooms, and nine meeting rooms.

Sharjah is one of seven United Arab Emirates in the Middle East, and in 1998 it was named Arab Capital of Culture by UNESCO.

Holidaymakers can enjoy many attractions and historic sites such as Central Souk/Blue Souk with its myriad of gold and jewellery dealers, the Al Majaz Waterfront, Sharjah City Centre Mall, Sahara Mall, Sharjah Art Museum, Sharjah Aquarium, Khalid Lagoon, Al Jazeera Park, and the Corniche.
