IAGTO is the global trade organisation for the golf tourist industry and the annual awards honour the best golf resorts in North America, Europe, and the Rest of the World.
The award winners are decided when more than 500 specialist golf tour operators in 62 countries across the world vote for various golf resorts based on criteria including customer satisfaction, quality of golf courses and accommodation, and value for money.
"On behalf of the entire resort, Casa de Campo is honoured to receive the ‘Golf Resort of the Year’ award from IAGTO,”
“We are proud to have such a renowned organisation recognise our 90 holes of Pete Dye-designed golf."
“Each of the three courses -Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links – presents unique challenges for golfers, whether it is playing the seven oceanfront holes on Teeth against strong seaside winds, or Dye Fore’s signature shots edging 300-feet cliffs dropping to the Chavon River below. Additionally, Casa de Campo’s attentive staff and upscale amenities make for great vacation experiences on and off the greens.” stated Peter Bonell, the Chief Marketing Officer for Casa de Campo.
Casa de Campo is located on the south-eastern coast of the Dominican Republic and it features spacious accommodation comprising high end three-to-ten bedroom villa mansions.
The luxury resort is a member of Leading Golf Resorts of the World, Leading Hotels of the World and Preferred Hotels & Resorts
