Virgin Atlantic recently announced a partnership with celebrity chef, Donal Skehan. The Irish chef and TV host will develop a number of meals to be served both on flights and in the airline's airport lounges. By some point next year, the meals will be available to passengers on all economy levels.

Virgin to use revolutionary green fuel on a commercial flight for the first time

As ground-breaking as ever, Virgin Atlantic wants to be the first tester of its eco-friendly jet fuel in the real world and it will be doing so very soon on a flight from Orlando to London Gatwick this October. The low-carbon emission jet fuel by LanzaTech will support the journey of the Boeing 747 in an attempt to raise awareness for greener technology in aviation while demonstrating that the use of the new sustainable jet fuel is viable for more than experimental flights.
