The tour gives you the opportunity to explore the wildlife preserves that is said to be the home of Mogli. The three magnificent national parks - Pench, Kanha and Bandhavgarh are one of India's few remaining wildernesses, provided the inspiration for a truly legendary story- teller, Rudyard Kipling, great chronicler of 19th century British India, to conceive the delightful tales of The Jungle Book.

Day 1 - Arrive Mumbai

Arrive in Mumbai and you will be assisted & transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Mumbai is a city of dreams, the glamour of the movie world, the razors edge of the skyscrapers to the mainland of the harbour, people here come from diverse ethnic backgrounds yet nurture the dream of success, their undying spirit adds colour and flavour to this multicultural city. A throbbing, cosmopolitan metropolis, it still retains the glory of the past, the colonial legacy that coexists with the Maratha influence.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 2 - In Mumbai

Start your tour by visiting Kipling's birthplace Mumbai here visiting J.J School of Art where you see the renowned building in the campus, the century-and-half-old wood and stone bungalow that was Rudyard Kipling's birthplace. An ornate metal plaque at the entrance of this house is engraved with the words, "Rudyard Kipling, son of Lockwood Kipling, first principal of Sir J. J. School of Art, was born here on 30.12.1865." Traditionally the home of the deans for both the Sir J. J. School of Art and Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, this identically-split-bungalow attracts numerous Kipling-enthusiasts from all over the world.

Afternoon visit the Prince of Wales Museum, drive past Marine Drive, Mumbai's most popular seaside promenade, and see the Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens on the slopes of the Malabar hills, offering a nice view of the marine lines and the Chowpatty beach.

Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 3 - Mumbai To Nagpur To Pench

Mumbai by Dawn is a unique offering where you see the bustling city of Mumbai wake up. You get to peek into the underbelly of the city and gain insights into what makes this magnificent city tick.

From seeing hundreds of newspaper vendors sort out newspapers of 7 different languages, experiencing one-of-its-kind fish auction of 20 tons of fish, to seeing an 'only green' herb market sprawled across a popular bridge, from watching the milkmen drive past with canisters, the melee of color at the flower markets, to experiencing the clamour and chaos of the arrival of over 100 tons of vegetables, fruits and meat - Mumbai by Dawn truly defines the mercurial character of Mumbai like none other. What's interesting is that when you walk the same lanes a few hours later, you will not find any evidence of the morning's hustle bustle. It comes at a price though, waking up at 5.15 for one!
Later you will be assisted & transferred to Mumbai airport to connect flight to Nagpur.

Upon arrival at Nagpur, you will be transferred to Pench (170 kms / 3.5 Hrs).

Day 4 - In Pench

Morning and afternoon game drives by exclusive jeeps.

In the evening spend an hour with a local folklorist to know more about Rudyard Kipling & local tribes and their life around the jungle. Also know how Kipling got inspiration on the stories of Jungle Book.

Day 5 - Pench To Kanha

Morning proceed for another game drive by exclusive jeep.

Post breakfast drive to Kanha (120 kms / 03 Hrs) and on arrival check into the Camp. Overnight in Kanha

Day 6 - In Kanha

Today you will explore the park by doing early morning and afternoon game drives by exclusive jeep.

Day 7 - In Kanha

Today morning, proceed for another game drive by exclusive jeep.

Post breakfast, proceed to visit the Tribal Villages located near the camp.

Villages, inhabited by people of the Gond tribe, small farmers, and labourers, surround the Park. The Gond tribals, being forest dwellers, hold great respect for the forest and its fauna, many of which are worshipped. Domestic livestock such as cattle, buffaloes and goats owned by these people frequent the areas adjacent to the Tiger Reserve, many a times falling prey to the wild carnivores of the region. A visit to these villages will help to gain an insight to their local customs and traditions.

Post lunch proceed for guided nature walk which take place in the buffer forest that adjoins the lodge. The walk is aimed at experiencing the forest through all five senses - sight, sound, smell, taste and touch and awakening the sixth sense - intuition or instinct.

Overnight in Kanha.

Day 8 - Kanha To Bandhavgarh

Morning proceed for another game drive by exclusive jeep.

Post breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh (206 kms / 4.5 Hrs). On arrival check in at the Camp.

Bandhavgarh National Park is spread at vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India.

In the evening special session will be organized with an Expert Naturalist with more focus on Leopards & other wildlife's.

Day 9 - In Bandhavgarh

Today you will explore the park by doing early morning and afternoon game drives by shared jeep.

Day 10 - Bandhavgarh To Khajuraho

Today morning after breakfast you will be transferred in your private vehicle to Khajuraho (260 kms / 5.5 Hrs).

On arrival proceed to check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Khajuraho - a UNESCO world heritage site is a city of beautiful temples that date back to 950 AD. Embellished with inspirations from this rich and exotic locale, The Lalit Temple View Khajuraho, overlooks the Western Group of Temples famed for their erotic sculptures.

In the evening proceed to witness the Sound & Light Show.This fascinating light & sound spectacle evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of the unique temples from the 10th Century to the present day.

Day 11 - Khajuraho To Jhansi To Agra

Today after breakfast you will be taken to visit Western group of Temples. Among the western group of temples, the most famous is the Kandariya Mahadev temple, 32 meters high with a fantastic range of sculptures including sensuous themes. Other temples include the Chaunsath Yogini, which is a granite temple, the Devi Jagdambe temple dedicated to the Mother Goddess, the Chitragupta temple, dedicated to Surya the Sun God, etc.

Return to hotel after the tour. Later check out & you will be transferred in your private vehicle to Jhansi railway station (175 kms / approx. 04 Hrs) to board train to Agra.

On arrival at Agra, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Agra.

Day 12 - Agra

Visit the Taj Mahal by Sunrise.

The Mughal Emperor Shahjahan built the Taj Mahal in 1630 AD to enshrine the mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal manifests the wealth and luxury of Mughal art as seen in architecture and garden designs, painting, and calligraphy. The 144 foot double dome of the Taj is capped with a finial and the four minarets each 131 ft high and crowned by an open octagonal pavilion highlight the perfect symmetry of the tomb.

The filigree screen meant to veil the area around the royal tomb was carved out of single block of marble.

After your visit, return hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast proceed to visit the massive Agra Fort that was originally started by Emperor Akbar in 1565, but his son, Jahangir, and grandson, Shah Jahan, later made valuable additions to it. It houses the Dewan-e-Khas and Dewan-e-Aam (Halls of Private and Public Audience).

Later, enjoy a Visit to Mehtab Bagh for the splendid views of the Taj Mahal in the lap of serene landscaped surroundings. It is a great place to get unique shots of the ever majestic Taj Mahal.

Overnight in Agra.

Day 13 - Agra To Delhi

Today after a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred in your private vehicle back to Delhi (204 kms / 04 Hrs).

Delhi stands as the capital of modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the old and new India, the ancient and the modern. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors who have left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles.

On arrival at Delhi, proceed to check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 14 - Delhi

Proceed for a full day combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. (The Guide will meet you at the hotel at approximately 0900 hrs. unless you request otherwise). In Old Delhi you will visit the 17th century Jama Masjid and walk through the narrow, winding lanes of colourful and bustling Chandni Chowk. You have the option of taking a rickshaw ride through these bazaars. Also visit the Mughal Empire's most opulent fort, the Red Fort for a photo stop. Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Afternoon proceed to New Delhi. Drive past The Presidential Palace, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war and a drive along the Rajpath past the Parliament House and secretarial buildings. Visit Qutab Minar, the 12th century tower of victory built by a slave king and prototype of all minars (towers) in India. Also visit the 16th century Humayun's tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 15 - Depart Delhi

Today morning after breakfast, you will be assisted & transferred in your private car to connect your flight back home.
