Sitting on the other side of Playa del Carmen at Mexico's largest island of Cozumel, Iberostar Cozumel is host to a magnificent array of wildlife and marine life, and the best scuba diving in the region. Popular for its two magnificent reefs that stand at either side of the resort, this hotel is a must for those looking to experience magical underwater adventures. A romantic couple's ideal destination, Iberostar Cozumel stands as a cosy and somewhat rustic, open-air resort made up of little bungalows, complete with hammocks and private patios. The atmosphere has that touch of subdued wilderness like that of an island village where camaraderie and good conversation is easy to find. Bask along the paved pathways that meander around the hotel’s pathways, taking you anywhere and everwhere. A great place to unwind and enjoy some quality time in the company of loved ones, Iberostar Cozumel is also the best spot to stay at for some of the greatest scuba diving and snorkelling you'll ever experience!
Excellent for scuba diving. Food quality and variety is also excellent. A longer journey from Cancun than we expected - 3 hours via taxi, ferry, taxi after the 11+ hour flight, so maybe look at flying via USA direct to Cozumel. The transfers worked well, and all local staff were efficient, polite...
