An Eco Luxury Experience Tour - Petya's Discovery of Western Thailand

My colleague Petya recently embarked on an eye-opening journey of Thailand and she was awe-struck by how much there was to see and discover in this vibrant, multi-coloured nation. She documented her trip with a series of photographs that she generously shared with me so that I could show their beauty to the world. Thanks to the many snaps of the places she visited and the cultural experiences she took part in we get to see many more sides to Thailand than we’re used to. The pictures are so evocative that I’ll definitely have to add Thailand to my bucket list! In the meantime, I’m happy to be taken there through Petya’s images, giving you a quick insight into the many glittering gems to be found in the heart of wondrous Southeast Asia.

The Holiday Place attends WTM 2018 for another yearly dose of culture and colour

The month of November spells global travel extravaganza at ExCel London as it hosts the annual edition of the World Travel Market. Like every year, The Holiday Place was there to get its yearly dose of travel festivity and as usual I brought my camera along to take some photos of this edition’s pop-up surprises. And here I am, back to sharing my images with the world, capturing the best of WTM 2018 with pictures of elaborate decorations and eye-catching installations. I've tried to include my favourite moments and shots of costumes and stands, considering I had limited time and thus some displays were inevitably left out, here is what instantly caught my eye and lifted my spirit.

Looking back at my Egypt Nile Cruise adventure - the perfect introduction to Egyptian culture

It’s been more than 5 years since I first visited Egypt and enjoyed a scenic, deeply-enriching Nile Cruise, from Luxor to Aswan, making stops along the way to take in stunning ancient marvels like the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Kom Ombo and Philae Temple. Although it’s been a while since I embarked on that unforgettable trip, I still vividly remember the impression it left on me and reviewing my photos has inspired me to return in the not-so-distant future, rediscover it and capture sights that I missed out on the first time around. For now though, I invite you to follow me on this past journey of awe-inspiring encounters as I retrace my steps and relive my Egyptian adventure through a selection of my favourite images.
