Trinidad & Tobago and the Bahamas are crowned culinary winners at Taste of the Caribbean 2018

The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association has declared the cuisines of Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago as the best in the region after both nations came on top during the Taste of the Caribbean 2018 competition held last month.

Princess Cruises unveils new Caribbean itinerary for 2019-2020 season

Princess Cruises has revealed its latest itineraries for sailings in the Caribbean in the 2019/2020 season. The season will also see the launch of the cruise line's new Sky Princess ship, which will operate seven-day sailings across the Eastern and Western Caribbean, visiting destinations like St Thomas and Cozumel. The new itinerary includes 10 itineraries and 119 departures on ships including Princess' Caribbean Princess, Crown Princess, Pacific Princess, Regal Princess and Sky Princess ships.

Karisma modifies name of Azul Beach resorts in Mexico and Jamaica

Award-winning hotel chain, Karisma Hotels & Resorts recently renamed some of its Azul Beach properties in Mexico and one in Jamaica. According to the company these tweaks to the previous names, which will soon be reflected on websites, are now more specific about each of the venues’ locations. Karisma is one of the world's most successful hospitality companies and is set to continue growing in the near future.

Trio of Caribbean airlines join forces to provide easier travel and lower fares

Pledging to provide smoother and cheaper transport for travellers so they can move around all 32 Caribbean nations easier, three Caribbean airlines have announced an alliance under the CaribSKY project, co-funded by the European Union's INTERREG Caribbean programme. The 4.7 million project will allow passengers to travel on any of the three airlines using just one ticket through codeshares and interline agreements.
