Virgin Atlantic launches new direct flights between London Heathrow and Barbados

Virgin Atlantic has launched a direct flight between London Heathrow and Barbados. The twice-weekly service is the only direct service from London Heathrow Airport, and it will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout Christmas. The new service means that Virgin Atlantic now offers up to 11 flights to the Caribbean island a week from Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester airports.

Nikki Beach Barbados to make debut in early 2018

Nikki Beach Barbados is getting ready to open it doors to holidaymakers this winter. The luxury beach club is located on Port Ferdinand, north of Speightstown on the west coast of Barbados. The unique Caribbean property sits elevated on a 1.4-acre site on the beachfront, and has beach cabanas, a swimming pool, a gourmet restaurant and a cocktail bar.

Barbados records increase in international stayover tourists

The Caribbean island of Barbados is recording a growth in tourism numbers, according to the latest figures released by the Barbados Tourism Board. The island nation received 453,645 international overnight visitors between January and September, which is a 7.4 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2016. The majority of visitors came from the United States.
