The Caribbean property is scheduled to go to auction very soon on 12th July 2018. There's speculation of investors interest to turn the area into a luxury resort.
“Although Prince famously loved his hometown of Minneapolis, The Purple One could not resist escaping to this tropical paradise, where he put his mark on the estate with a characteristically creative purple driveway.”
Stated Premiere Estates, the real estate company organising the sale of the villa.
The upscale property has six bedrooms and six bathrooms and boasts stunning views of the ocean. Perched 40 feet above sea level, the 10,000-square-foot villa boasts two private beaches, a 200-foot personal dock, a tennis court, and a guard home at the entrance.
The U.S singer, who passed away in 2016, won eight Grammy Awards during his lifetime. He was famous for hits including "Purple Rain", "1999", "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" and "Diamonds and Pearls".
Providenciales is an island in the Turks and Caicos archipelago in the Caribbean. The 38-mile-long island is fringed by white sand beaches, including the famous Grace Bay beach. Natural wonders include the naturally-formed limestone opening called The Hole, and Chalk Sound National Park with its tiny cays. Home to crystal clear waters and thriving marine species, visitors can go snorkelling or scuba diving to sites including Smith’s Reef and Bight Reef.
The island is more built up than many others in Turks and Caicos. It is home to a collection of luxury beachfront hotels and resorts that cater for families, couples and adults. There are also beautiful powder-soft white sand beaches, chic boutiques, and restaurants serving Caribbean cuisine.
Turks and Caicos sit in the West Indies, north of the Dominican Republic, and southeast of The Bahamas. The nation has a total of 40 coral islands and cays, of which just eight are inhabited.
The capital of Turks and Caicos is Grand Turk, an island rich in history and culture. Visitors can explore colonial-style buildings, historic ruins, and a collection of museums and tourist attractions. These include the Grand Turk Lighthouse and the Turks and Caicos National Museum.
