Rosewood Bermuda reopening this month after an extensive renovations

Rosewood Hotels and Resort has announced that it will relaunch its luxury hotel in Bermuda this month following extensive renovations. The property is undergoing a $25 million refurbishment programme.

Schedule to reopen to guests in April, the luxury resort, formerly known as Rosewood Tucker’s Point, will relaunch as Rosewood Bermuda. The resort is in the final stage of the renovation project, and once completed it will feature upgraded accommodation and upscale facilities.

Famously known as Bermuda’s best resort, the resort originally opened in 2009 with chic island décor and gourmet dining. The resort has been reimagined by designers including London-based designer Alexander Waterworth Interiors Ltd, who upgraded the resort’s beach club. One of the property’s biggest upgrades was the Sense Spa, which now offers pampering new treatments, a manicured yoga and Tai Chi lawn, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The spa also features a swimming pool surrounded by iconic pink-ruffle umbrellas.

Rosewood Bermuda’s 92 guest rooms have also been redesigned with the help of Dawson Design Associates. The rooms and suites feature soft neutral shades with splashes of azure blue, crisp lines, and fabrics that reflect the island’s tropical setting. The elegant rooms boast private balconies with views of the sea and swimming pool, as well as walk-in showers and separate over-sized soaking tubs. Modern in-room amenities include flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, complimentary wireless internet, minibars, and bath robes and slippers.

The luxury resort’s facilities include swimming pools, tennis courts, a golf course and golf club, a modern fitness centre, and the Camp Seahorse Kids Club with an array of fun supervised activities. Dining options are available in indoor and al fresco settings and include the Beach Club Restaurant and the Island Brasserie. For coffees, juices, handcrafted cocktails, and local cuisine, Tucker’s Bar offers a relaxing atmosphere.

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts is a hotel group that operates more than 20 luxury properties in 12 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean/Atlantic. The group has upscale hotels in major destinations including London, Costa Rica, Mexico, New York, Paris, Tuscany, Beijing, Abu Dhabi and Vancouver.
