Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort unveils new villas in St Lucia

High-end holiday resort Windjammer Landing Villa Beach in St Lucia has unveiled a series of new villas as part of its multi-million pound expansion across the Caribbean island’s north coast. Alongside adding a collection of new luxury villas, the resort has also revamped its existing villas, grounds, gardens and dining venues.

Larger than average with three bedrooms to accommodate families and groups, the four new North Point luxury villas are phase two of ongoing investment to expand and improve the Mediterranean-style holiday village that has seen several new villas built in the last couple of years.

All the North Point villas include master en-suite bedrooms with a king-sized beds, as well as second and third en-suite bedrooms each with two queen-sized beds. Ground level villas feature outdoor showers, private gardens and infinity pools, while the upper level villas have al fresco kitchens and dining areas under a rooftop terrace with sundecks and plunge pools. Interiors are bright, breezy Caribbean style with tiles, natural woods and light fabrics.

“From the beachfront location to the state-of-the-art appliances, and everything in-between, these villas will exceed the expectations of those looking for a luxury vacation.”

Said Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort’s managing director Scott Seger.

The resort has also revamped its grounds, communal spaces, eating areas, restaurant and spa. The breakfast buffet area and coffee bar at the Dragonfly restaurant has been remodelled and new swing seating has been added to the 96 Degrees bar. All the resort’s swimming pools have been updated and there’s now a wedding pergola and gardens.

First opened in the early 1980s, the all-inclusive Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort was designed by Bajan architect Ian Morrison to look like a Mediterranean village spread across 60 acres of green coastline. The resort has 353 rooms including villas, suites and guestrooms.

The expansive resort has five al fresco restaurants and four bars, six swimming pools and family facilities, and offers a range of motorized and non-motorized watersports, including waterskiing, snorkelling and windsurfing.
