Best Western Hotels and Resorts will be opening a brand new beachfront hotel in Vietnam, after signing a license agreement with the CEO Group in Vietnam. The hotel group will launch the Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc in January, 2019.
Located on the idyllic Phu Quoc on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand in Vietnam, the luxury beachfront resort will have 565 guest rooms and suites that offer private balconies with views of the ocean, beach or tropical gardens.
“Phu Quoc Island is one of Asia’s most desirable up-and-coming resort destinations, and we are delighted to enter this prime tourist market with such a fantastic resort.”
“Modern, stylish and commanding a prime location, Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc represents the new era of Best Western Hotels & Resorts in Asia.”
Stated Olivier Berrivin, the Managing Director of International Operations for Best Western Asia.
Guests can relax in their spacious accommodation with modern amenities including free wireless internet, or they can soak up the tropical views and sunshine from their very own terrace or balconies. Facilities at the resort will include freeform swimming pools, a modern fitness centre, gourmet restaurants, bars with a beachside setting or views, and holidaymakers will have access to a stretch of private beach.
“Vietnam’s tourism industry is experiencing incredible growth. Having welcomed a record ten million international arrivals in 2016, the country continues to surge in popularity among tourists from across the world. With its unspoilt beaches, fast-developing infrastructure and relaxed visa regulations, Phu Quoc is at the forefront of this growth.”
Located off the south coast of Vietnam, Phu Quoc Island is one of the country’s most tropical destinations, and it has attracted more than 550,000 visitors in the first quarter of 2017, which is an 80 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2016. The island is home to pristine beaches, cascading waterfalls, dense forests and travellers can enjoy warm, clear waters for snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and boat trips. The island’s attractions include Vinpearl safari and amusement parks, Cua Temple, Ho Quoc Pagoda, and a new cable car that is under development and will connect Phu Quoc with the neighbouring island of Hon Thom.
The island is set to receive its own international airport, and several luxury hotels and attractions are already under development. These include the launch of the Regent Phu Quoc hotel and residences at Bai Truong in 2019, which will operate under Regent Hotels & Resorts, and will have 400 rooms.
