The Hilton Bali Resort, the new Hilton-brand hotel in Indonesia

The hotel giant Hilton recently opened its first Hilton Hotels and Resorts property on the island of Bali. The resort is located in the Nusa Dua area of the island and reaches from the top of a cliff to the beaches below. As is customary with Hilton’s high-end properties, the resort offers a number of amenities, all with beautiful views of the Indian Ocean.

The Hilton Bali Resort, the new Hilton-brand hotel in Indonesia

Hilton Hotels and Resorts recently opened their first property in Bali, the Hilton Bali Resort. Hilton renovated and rebranded the former Grand Nikko Resort, which is located in the Nusa Dua area of Bali.

The opening of the 389-room property marks the debut of the upscale Hilton Hotels and Resorts brand in Bali. The island is already home to the Hilton-owned Conrad and Hilton Garden Inn properties. It is only the second Hilton-branded hotel in Indonesia, the other being the Hilton Bandung.

The new resort is located on Bali’s southern peninsula, directly overlooking the Indian Ocean. The resort is spread across 11 hectares of land, beginning at the top of a cliff and reaching down onto a sandy beach. In addition to its 389 rooms, the resort is also home to 19 luxury villas, with most having a view of the ocean.

The property offers guests seaside decadence with a secluded beach and private cabanas. In addition to the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, the resort also boasts four interconnected pools for the enjoyment of guests.

Beyond relaxation, virtually every need and whim of its guests is attended to at the Hilton Bali Resort. Six restaurants serve Italian, Japanese, Balinese, and Western cuisines. All-day room service is also available. Guests with children can be assured that the resort provides a family-friendly environment, with babysitting services, family rooms, and daily activities for children, as well as an indoor and outdoor playground.

Numerous outdoor activities are available, including golf, 3 tennis courts, and a 30m waterslide. Snorkelling, water skiing, and scuba diving are also available within a short drive of the resort.

For a truly decadent experience, however, guests should visit one of the resort’s 8 semi-private spa villas with ocean views. The resort also boasts a steam room, a fitness centre, a nail salon, and a sauna. Assuming you have any energy left after so much downtime, climb the resort’s observation tower to be rewarded with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

In the last year, Bali has seen a 19% increase in the number of tourists over the same period last year. Over 2 million international tourists visited Bali in the first half of 2016 and has 32 new properties currently under construction.
