Opening of Six Senses Zil Pasyon marks hotel group's entry into the Seychelles

Six Senses Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of its newest property in the Seychelles. Six Senses Zil Pasyon sits on the private island of Felicite, and has been designed to embrace its stunning natural surroundings.

The new hotel marks the debut of the Six Senses brand in the Seychelles, and the resort has 28 one-bedroom villas, two two-bedroom villas, and 17 private residences, each with private pools. The island resort offers excellent facilities that have been constructed and designed with as little environmental impact as possible.

During their stay at the luxury resort, guests can relax on three white-sand beaches, swim in the infinity pool and soak up views of the ocean and surrounding islands, work out at the gym with a personal trainer, watch films at the cinema under the stars, read books in the library, or take part in cooking classes. There’s the Trouloulou Villa with children’s activities, and the Experience Centre where guests can take part in fun waters ports such as kayaking, sailing, snorkelling and scuba diving.

Dining options at the resort are plentiful, and the culinary team is led by Chef Richard Lee. There’s the Island Cafe with its casual menu, open lounge and interactive Chef’s Kitchen; Ocean Restaurant, a no-meat restaurant on the water’s edge; Koko Bar next to the infinity pool; and Lakanbiz with a selection of flavoured rums. Guests can also enjoy private dining in their villas, or bespoke private dinners in the Wine Vault.

The Six Senses Spa is perched on the top of the impressive rock formations, close to the sea and will open to guests in January, 2017. A temporary spa has been put in place offering signature treatments until then.

The island of Felicite features huge granite boulders that sit on white sandy beach and the edge of the turquoise Indian Ocean. The luxury beach resort spans 264 hectares on the north side of the island, and it can be reached via a 20-minute helicopter ride from Seychelles International Airport on the main island of Mahe.

Six Senses Hotels and Resorts is an international hotel group with luxury properties in Thailand, Vietnam, the Maldives, and Oman. The renowned Six Senses Spa brand can be found at a number of luxury hotels in the Caribbean, Sri Lanka, London, Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Abu Dhabi, and Spain.
