A brand new wellness programme has been launched at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Vietnam. Guests can embark on a three, five or seven-day programme that helps replenish the mind, body and soul.
Starting with a bespoke mixology workshop influenced by ancient Chinese medicine, the wellness journey will include a variety of treatments. The De-Stress Herbal Compress massage is designed to remove lactic acid and ease stiff joints and muscles, while the Body Cleanse Hamman is carried out on a therapeutic Danang marble bed and uses local black rice and charcoal.
Bastien Gonzalez, a renowned pedicurist and podiatrist, will offer personal sessions for unique foot treatments including his signature Four Hand therapy. Guests will also have access to yoga and meditation classes.
The spa programme will include a clean eating plan that will use fresh, local Vietnamese ingredients and delicacies. These include oysters from Nha Trang, Vietnamese red crab, shredded banana blossom with green mango, and ruby snapper accompanies by mango salad.
Holidaymakers can stay in the hotel’s Spa Lagoon Villas that are located within a sheltered lagoon and feature in-room spas. Villas have private outdoor jacuzzis, a stone bath tub, steam room, sauna and a yoga terrace with sea views. Guests of the spa programme will also benefit from access to a private lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails at the hotel, and a private arrival and department lounge at the airport.
The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is nestled within the hills of the beautiful Son Tra Peninsula in Vietnam, a short distance from three UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The hotel has 200 guest rooms and suites, including luxury beachfront villas with private pools. The resort’s facilities include La Maison 1888 restaurant with a three Michelin starred Chef, the award-winning HARNN heritage spa, and a sophisticated beachside bar.
The hotel faces the East Sea and is located 15 km from the French colonial Da Nang Port. In Da Nang, beautiful beaches are peppered along the 30-kilometre-long coastline, such as My Khe Beach, Lang Co Beach, Hoi An and My Son.
The HARNN Heritage Spa at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has won multiple global awards including being named as Vietnam’s Best Hotel Spa and the World’s Best New Hotel Spa. The property will host the regional World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2016 in October.
