The delayed Premier Inn Sharjah opens its doors to guests in the United Arab Emirates

Action Hotels has opened the Premier Inn Sharjah in the Middle East. The luxury hotel was originally scheduled to open last year but it was delayed due to power issues. It officially opened to guests last week in the heart of Sharjah, with 168 guest rooms and facilities including a gym, a restaurants and a coffee shop.

Action Hotels has announced the opening of the Premier Inn Sharjah, which was scheduled to open to guests last year.

Following a delay due to power issues last year, the luxury hotel in Sharjah opened last week in the emirate.

Adam Nicholls; the Managing Director for Premier Inn, Middle East; explained:

"We are delighted to be working with Action Hotels and are really excited to be able to bring the Premier Inn brand to even more customers across the Middle East."

"We have a fantastic team who are looking forward to welcoming customers to Premier Inn Sharjah and delivering our promise of a great night's sleep, at affordable prices."

Situated close to the Khalid Lagoon Corniche, the Blue Souq, and the Sharjah Expo Centre, and just 20 minutes from Dubai Airport (DXB), the luxury hotel has 168 guest rooms and facilities including a restaurant, a gym, a Costa coffee shop, a business centre, meeting rooms, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Commented Alain Debare, the Chief Executive Officer of Action Hotels. He also explained:

"We are confident in the hotel's future success. Sharjah is well positioned for both leisure and business travel and is a hub of culture and activity, having been named Arab Tourism Capital for 2015."

Action Hotels is a Kuwaiti-based developer and asset manager of several three- and four-star brands across the Middle East. The company is planning to convert an office tower in Riyadh into a three-star hotel with 130 guest rooms.

Sharjah is one of seven of the United Arab Emirates and in 1998 it was named Arab Capital of Culture by UNESCO.

Holidaymakers can enjoy attractions and historic sites such as Central Souk/Blue Souk, Al Majaz Waterfront, Sharjah City Centre Mall, Sahara Mall, Sharjah Art Museum, Sharjah Aquarium, Khalid Lagoon, Al Jazeera Park and the Corniche.
