The Leading Hotels of the World Ltd. has announced the addition of five new members to its prestigious global collection of properties.
The new members include the Battery Wharf Hotel, in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States, The Knickerbocker Hotel in New York, Gran Melia Rome Villa Agrippina in Rome, Italy, Park Hotel Vitznau, Vitznau in Switzerland, and the Royal Palm Marrakech in Morocco.
The Royal Palm Marrakech is situated within 231 hectares of lush land surrounded by palm trees, olive and orange groves, against the backdrop of the jagged Atlas Mountains, 12 kilometres from the bustling capital of Morocco, Marrakech.
The hotel draws inspiration from the regional North African culture and has 134 upscale suites and villas that have been designed in earthy, desert tones and feature handcrafted wooden furnishings, and Berber rugs. All of the suites boast terraces or balcony and mountain views and guests can enjoy amenities such as breakfast, mini-bar soft drinks, flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi access from $500 per night for a single room, and $577 for a double room.
Holidaymakers will have access to an array of luxury facilities including three gourmet restaurants, tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, and a lavish spa that is located in a building designed to resemble a traditional Riad with six individual treatment rooms and four double massage rooms, a hammam, a sauna, a swimming pool, a yoga room, and a beauty area.
Morocco is a country in North Africa located south of Spain with a coastline spreading across both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. While enjoying holidays in Morocco, tourists can explore the medieval city of Fez; the movie-famous city of Casablanca that is home to Morocco's largest mosque, The King Hassan II; and the traditional souks, spice markets and historical ruins in Marrakech.
The five new luxury hotels join Leading Hotels of the World's Collection of more than 400 hotels in over 80 countries across the globe, including grand palaces, ancient castles, safari tent villages, and boutique central city hotels.
