Tobago has welcomed the recent opening of a brand new boutique hotel close to the ANR Robinson International Airport (TAB).

Located in central Tobago, a few minutes from the airport and Pigeon Point, the new luxury hotel has 40 guestrooms, suites and studios, and an array of facilities.

Guests can dine at the Tempo Restaurant and Bar or enjoy lunch and cocktails by the pool at the Flip Flops bar, or relax with pampering massages, body scrubs and manicures at the Oceans of Notions day spa. A new gym is also planned to open at the hotel in the near future.

There are three modern meeting rooms with state-of-the-art equipment, a business centre, and the air-conditioned Calypso Ballroom that caters for up to 250 people.

Accommodation is made up of 35 rooms and suites, and five studios with kitchenettes, and all feature amenities such as 42-inch flat-screen TVs, refrigerators and free WiFi.

This is the first boutique hotel to open in Tobago's centre for some time and it holds a prime location, close to Crown Point.

Tobago is one half of the twin-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. The country boasts beautiful white sandy beaches, warm azure ocean waters, majestic mountains, and verdant forests and rolling hills.

Tourists can enjoy tours of the Caroni Bird Sanctuary, the Emperor Valley Zoo and Botanical Gardens, and historic Fort George.

The nation is home to a selection of thriving nature parks, rainforests, and cascading waterfalls. Water lovers can scuba dive down to Buccoo Reef in Tobago and discover vibrant coral gardens within shallow crystal-clear ocean waters alongside diverse and colourful marine species.

Annual festivals in the country include Divali, the Hindu festival of lights, and the Tobago Heritage Festival, and active travellers can take part in activities such as golf, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing and horse riding.
